Years 7 and 8 Projects
Year 7 and 8 Excellence Academy students showcased their independent project work this week. We had projects from year 7 which included the Black Death, the Feudal System, the Ptolemaic Solar System and work from English Literature during the times of Geoffrey Chaucer. Year 8 made projects based upon the theme, ‘Protests’. Work ranged from the Black Lives Matter movement, the Palestine/Israel conflict and Just Stop Oil to Period Poverty, the Suffragettes and Pay Equality. Students made wonderful pieces of art, interactive quizzes, models and even websites to support their projects.
We then had the rest of KS3 join us during the afternoon to come and vote – results to follow.
