Wimbledon 2024
On Saturday 13th July, we were lucky enough to take 8 student on a PE rewards trip to Wimbledon. These students have consistently gone above and beyond for the PE Department this year, volunteering and representing the school in an array of different sporting events. They have shown time and time again that they uphold the schools core values.
The students had tickets to court 1 and were able to watch a Men’s doubles match and a Women’s doubles match, both were legends invitation games. The Students watched the likes of Kim Clijsters and Bob and Mike Bryan. The students were even lucky enough to see Tom Cruise. We took some time out in the day to have a look around the Wimbledon Museum, this gave the students an insight into the history of the tournament.
The students were a credit to the school throughout the day. A great day was had by all!
