New Cross Care Home and The Art Department ‘Stories’ Collaboration
Our art students have taken part in the first visit to New Cross Care Home, this was an opportunity for students to showcase their work, introduce themselves and talk about why they have selected to pursue a creative pathway.
They discussed their project ideas and explained what their artwork was inspired by. Residents spent a lot of time admiring the work, asking lots of questions and showing their appreciation for the wonderful work. This is the first session of a collaboration that will end with an Art and Photography exhibition that celebrates the resident’s lives through our student’s creativity.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with our community and celebrate collaboration through Art and Photography. We are looking forward to the next session already.
