Leadership: Primary School Multi-Skills Event
On Monday 13th January, a group of students took on the important role of leading a Key Stage 2 Multi-Skills event, held at Heath Park. The event brought together younger students from local schools for an evening filled with fun, fitness, and teamwork. Our students did an outstanding job of leading the activities, helping to create an environment of encouragement and inclusivity.
The Primary Multi-Skills event is designed to introduce young students to a variety of physical activities that promote coordination, balance, agility, and teamwork. Our Heath Park leaders, made up of students from Year 9 and Year 10, played a vital role in organising and guiding the younger participants through a series of fun, interactive challenges. They demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere throughout the day.
The younger students had a blast as they worked through each activity, and the feedback from teachers and participants was overwhelmingly positive. The Heath Park students were praised for their enthusiasm, patience, and ability to make the activities enjoyable.
This event was a fantastic demonstration of the power of student leadership. At Heath Park, we believe in giving our students the opportunity to lead, inspire, and make a real impact on others. Our sports leaders have not only helped the younger students develop new skills but have also gained confidence and experience that will serve them well in the future.
