Inspiring the Black Country Event
On June 26th, an exciting and informative careers trip took place for fifteen of our Year 10 students, offering them a unique opportunity to explore a variety of local employers, colleges, higher education institutions and apprenticeship opportunities at the Inspiring the Black Country Event at Dunstall Racecourse. This immersive experience was designed to help students gain an insight into the vast array of career paths available and to inspire them as they begin to make decisions about their future pathways.
Our Year 10 students found the trip to be incredibly beneficial. Here are some of their reflections:
“I really enjoyed visiting the different companies and seeing what jobs are out there. It’s given me a lot to think about for my future.”
“Learning about the different courses at the was really helpful. I now have a better idea of what I might want to study after Year 11.”
This careers trip was a fantastic success, providing our students with valuable experiences and information to help them make informed decisions about their future.
