Girls in Tech Career Discovery Day’
Year 12 girls had the opportunity to attend the ‘Girls in Tech Career Discovery Day’ hosted by Tecman, based in Wolverhampton. Their unique office, nestled within the beautifully converted St. John’s Church, provided a fantastic setting for an enriching experience.
Liz Delaney, the Director kicked off the day by introducing the girls to the various career opportunities at Tecman, focusing on customer engagement roles. The girls were then given a hands-on experience of creating solutions from customer projects, followed by an exciting escape room activity with the support team.
The day continued with a tour of Tecman’s offices, featuring treadmills, pool tables, access to food and drinks, and flexible workspaces—showcasing a vibrant and innovative tech space.
