An Orchestra Through Time
On 11/02/2025, all of Year 7 were invited to attend a concert put together by Wolverhampton Music Service. The concert was performed by Wolverhampton Symphony Orchestra, who were joined with the cities Youth Orchestra containing two of our amazing Heath Park students, Ema Kelpsaite on Oboe and Nathan Caligdong on Cello.
There were 110 musicians on stage that performed a range of repertoire from Mozart’s Clarinet Concert, Beethoven’s 5th Symphony through to a selection of John Williams’ music from Star Wars.
For many of our students it was their first opportunity to attend a concert so this was the most incredible day. A massive thank you to Wolverhampton Music Service, the Symphony Orchestra and the Youth Orchestra for providing the opportunity.
