Superhero Day 2024
In partnership with United22, as part of WolvOlympics 2024
Date: 2nd June Time: 10 am- 2 pm Venue: Aldersley Leisure Village
We have secured facilitators from a range of sports and cultural activities that can be adapted to ‘family/recreational time’ at home, in a local park or local area. The aim of the day is for
families and groups to play, have fun and be active in a safe environment and with the hope this will lead to a hobby or an affordable habit of activity that continues to supports physical and mental health.
The facilitators are inclusive and can connect participants to pathways and opportunities that are available. The activities will be varied and will include inclusive darts, drumming, archery and a range of games, movement and music.
The day will take place on a Sunday to try and capture as many SEN families as possible on a day that is hopefully accessible to all.
Each participant will be welcomed with a ‘CAN DO’ environment, demonstrate equality, and by working together we can make our community stronger and ‘super’.
This day is for SEN students and their families only. We would ask that you use the QR code below to complete a short form that will tell us who is attending and the Needs of those
attendees.
We would ask you to bring your own food and refreshments. There is grassed areas for Picnic and there is a Café available on site if needed.
